PODCAST THAT WILL INSPIRE YOU TO TAP INTO YOUR SELF CARE & SELF LOVE

Y'all know we all about self-care and self-love over here. Lately, I've been in tune with self-care and self-love podcasts and thought I should share with my homegirls. The host on these podcasts has helped me challenge myself in ways I didn't imagine, and being able to hear different perspectives allowed me to have an open mind when it comes to healing and growing. Never avoid things that make you feel physically and mentally drained. When we lack confidence and self-esteem, it usually stems from a place of being broken down. The more self-care and love we pour into ourselves, the more we will build a healthy relationship. Sometimes we need to hear stories and learn from people who may share similar backgrounds and understand the trials and tribulations we experienced. The podcast episodes are so intimate sometimes you feel like your sitting at the dinner table with the hosts.

I enjoy listening to the podcast because it requires me to make little effort besides tuning in to the host. I can still accomplish other things like cleaning my house, cooking, shooting content, running errands, indulging in self-care activities, etc. So if you like to multitask, this is a perfect way to sink in the knowledge, especially if you have a hectic schedule.

Below you will find 4 podcasts that will inspire you to dedicate more time to self-care, self-development, and self-love.

BLACK GIRL BRAVADO:

This podcast is hosted by two best friends Germani and Brittany who live in LA. They discuss self-care, self-love, health and wellness, spirituality, entrepreneurship, and more. They give you home girl vibes, and the topic they discuss comes from a place of vulnerability. Sometimes they will have you looking in the mirror, facing the things you were always afraid to face. It's not a judgmental zone, but it more of a place where you can come to a big sister to set things straight. On top of that, they are funny! It's the little things like if you forgot how to flirt, they will give you the tea.

BLACK GIRL HEAL:

This podcast is hosted by Sheena Tubbs to help women break out of cycles of unhealthy relationships with unavailable partners and feeling not enough by combining coaching, therapeutic support, and practical tools. Sheena is a therapist, and one thing that sparked my attention about her podcast is that she breakdown love addiction, love avoidance, and love deprivation while discussing the trauma that leads you into these three categories. I love to challenge the way I think and Sheena does a great job delivering the resources and discussing these topics. Every episode will encourage you to identify the issue your experiencing and growing through it to help you honor your self-worth.

THE SELF LOVE FIX PODCAST:

This podcast is hosted by inner child healing coach Beatrice Kamau. She discusses topics to help young women dive deeper into their inner child to help them cultivate self-love, self-worth, and high self-esteem. Her voice is so soothing and provides real-life experiences that allow you to know you're not alone. After every episode, you will leave setting boundaries, breaking codependency habits, understanding your triggers, and make sure your self-care is the first priority.

SELF CARE & CHILL WITH MAUI:

This podcast is hosted by Amirah Morris, and she discusses topics around relationships, sex, and self-love. If you want someone to sugarcoat, this isn't the place for you. Amirah is very transparent and passionate about the topics she discusses. She is the friend that is always going, to be honest, no matter the situation. You know the inner voice that talks to us, but sometimes we afraid to activate her; well, that's Amirah. It's the honest tea and the advice for me. If you feel low and need a little motivation, stop by, and Amirah will help you get on track. Every episode, I always leave feeling empowered.
